After about a month of rest from studying I am itching to get started on the next certification. Naturally I will be going for one of the specialisation certifications within the CCNP Enterprise track. I have, since about 4 years back, planned to do CCNP, DevNet Associate, ENCOR and then ENARSI. So this will then be the beginning of the end of the initial certification plan that I had cemented.
As for what comes after the CCNP, I am still not sure. The decision has not been made yet and could move into a lot of different directions, even outside of networking. But I won’t get ahead of myself here, the ENARSI is next.
I plan on using the same general technique as I have used for my previous certifications: 1. Cisco OCG, 2) self pased online video courses, 3) virtual labbing and 4) practise exams. This seems to have worked well in the past, so continuing to do the same until failure seems logical. Usually, from the start of studying to passing the certifications is about 3 months of regular and intense studies. I expect it to take roughly that long for the ENARSI as well. However, I also have a few things that came up on the ENCOR exam which I was not sufficiently prepared for. Those topics would also be nice to revisit.
Time to print the blueprint and get started. :)
